A finely detailed and pacific image of a seated Japanese Shaka Nyorai Buddha
This sublime Amida Nyorai Buddha in porcelain is depicted as seated with his hands in front of his belly depicting the mudra of meditation or the gesture of expounding the Buddhist law ((jōin mudra).
The Buddha is in fine condition with a beautiful ivory-colored face and the robes are richly decorated in polychrome and gold enamels.
Stamp under the base.
